  • data cock.lt collects:

    cock.lt does not require personally identifiable information to register for the service. to avoid providing cock.lt personal information, use a vpn, and follow basic opsec guidelines.

    as a cock.lt user, at any point, cock.lt may be retaining the following information about your account:
    • registration information (email address, hashed password, ip address, user agent, timestamps)
    • cookies used to keep you logged in to cock.lt and the webmail interface
    • session information saved by webmail in order to provide webmail access
    • mail storage (anything saved in your inbox, sent, or any other mail folders)
    • mail filters (configurable through the webmail interface)
    • recent imap, smtp and login information (detailed below)

    cock.lt may also be retaining the following information not related to your account:
    • http access logs containing your ip address, user agent, and type/location of your requests

    cock.lt does not guarantee that the above information is stored, only that it does not knowingly collect information in addition to this.

    imap, smtp and login logs' last thousand lines are retained, and as new log lines are created old ones are destroyed.
    specifically, imap and smtp logs include:
    • when an email is sent, the username, destination email address, and information about the connection (like ip address, quota information)
    • when you connect to imap, what ip address and username (if any) you are logging in with, and if that login was successful
    login logs include:
    • your login username, the service (imap or smtp) you logged into, your ip address and timestamp of the login

  • sharing of data:

    cock.lt does not sell or share your personal data. if an email is sent through cock.lt to a mail server that it cannot establish a tls connection with, or if cock.lt receives an email from a server that does not attempt a tls connection, this email will be transmitted over the internet without encryption.

  • use of data:

    cock.lt uses your data for the following purposes:
    • automatically by a robot:
      • all email sent or received through cock.lt is automatically scanned for spam
      • statistics like how many emails you've sent is used for quota tracking purposes
    • may be looked at by a human or a robot to investigate abuse:
      • your registration information
      • imap/smtp logs
      • mail filters
    • to comply with legal orders:
      • cock.lt complies with every legal order for user information under the jurisdictions which are applicable.

  • proof of ownership:

    because cock.lt does not require any personal information to register, your ability to log into your cock.lt account is the only way to prove ownership of it. do not lose your password! you will lose any ability to control your account if you do.

  • right to erasure:

    as a cock.lt user, you have the right to erasure. to exercise this right, please contact postmaster @ co...lt from your cock.lt account.

  • backups:

    cock.lt backups are not user-specific and as such are immutable in nature. as a result data may not be able to be deleted from these backups. however, on restoration any erased accounts will be discarded from the restore. to accomplish this, on account erasure, a record of only the email address will be kept for the purposes of purging backups on restoration. this also prevents registration of duplicate accounts.
